On Feb. 24th the children of Christ Church, Sault Ste Marie, will be creating ‘Blessing Bags’ for people in need in our midst. By God’s Grace – the bags are filled with socks, mitts, hand warmers, toques, toothbrushes, chap stick, granola bars, a gift card (from either Tim’s, Wendy’s, or Subway), a copy of the Gospel of John and a special note to remind of them of Jesus and His constant, never ceasing love for them. Children are encouraged to write a simple note remembering that God will never forsake them…that He has a plan and a purpose for them. These bags of encouragement are donated to establishments – such as St. Vincent Place and Pauline’s Place –  that will distribute them to people in need.
