Thank You, Anglican Foundation of Canada!!

Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, is the grateful recipient of a $10,000 grant from The Anglican Foundation of Canada. We are absolutely thrilled to pieces and so very, very thankful for the generous mission of the foundation.

The AFC exists to support the various ministries of the Anglican Church of Canada and, in doing so, they disburse thousands of dollars each year. The AFC partners with the church in order to enable transformative ministries from coast to coast to coast. They support exciting children’s ministries, building projects, music ministries, and much more in order to help us be the church – furthering God’s purpose to reconcile all creation to each other and to God…thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Holy Trinity will be using the grant money to furnish our new worship space – which is well under way. Our new home will be in the apartment building currently being built on the corner of Northern and Great Northern. We undertook this ambitious project, with the help of knowledgeable partners, in order to provide much needed affordable housing in our city and to provide a hub from which to form transformational relationships with the local community. The construction began in July of 2024 and, two years later, we have an end in sight. Holy Trinity will be able to move in late in the spring or early summer – we’ve been given an estimate of June 2026.
