Tackling Homelessness Named Deanery Priority

Homelessness and a lack of affordable housing are a fact of life facing thousands of men, women, and children across our diocese – and within our deanery.  Members of Deanery Council were confronted with the stark reality of this problem at its March 3rd meeting.  The 4th Sunday of Easter has been designated as a time to pray about this concern. Bishop Anne also urges congregations to talk about how they can contribute to addressing this problem. As legendary Anglican poet George Herbert remarked, “Nothing is little in God’s service.” So whatever difference we can make, let’s make it!
