Thursday, Nov.29th is the White Elephant at Holy Trinity, SSM; 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Friday, Nov.30th is the ACW St. Andrew’s Day service at the Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. followed by a lunch at Bishophurst.
Saturday, December 1st is the Men’s Breakfast and fellowship at Holy Trinity, SSM, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, December 1st is the Christmas Ham Pastie Luncheon at St. George’s Echo Bay, 11am-1:30pm.
And, Saturday, December 1st is St. Luke’s Junior Girls’ and Boys’ Auxiliary starting at 12pm.
Looking ahead…
Sunday, December 2nd at 4pm there will Jazz Vespers at Emmaus.
Also, Sunday, December 2nd at 4pm is the Advent Lessons & Carols at St. Luke’s Cathedral.

Friday, November 30th is the Holy Day of St. Andrew the Apostle. In Greek, Andrew’s name means “manly.” In the Synoptic Gospels, Andrew and his brother Peter were called to “fish for people.” Legend has it that Andrew was crucified on an x-shaped cross which is why there is an ‘x’ on the Scottish flag since he is their patron saint.
