That’s the name of the image you see pictured below created from the 1,119 names Susan Koyle received after sending out the invitation for congregations around the diocese to join in the worldwide ecumenical prayer movement known as Thy Kingdom Come. Christians around the world were invited to pray, from the Ascension of the Lord through to Pentecost, for people to come to know Christ. The names sent to Susan were those people for whom Anglicans across our diocese were praying. Each name was prayed over before being incorporated into the design. The image of Jesus is a “life-sized” version based on a picture Susan saw online. There’s a dove in the top left corner, flames in the bottom right corner, and the whole thing is surrounded by a frame – all of which is formed from the names. Thank you to all of the congregations who participated.
