Important Reminder!!!:  The Youth Animator for The Anglican Church of Canada is coming to Sault Ste Marie this month! Oct.26, 27, & 28. This is a wonderfully fantastic opportunity for you to come talk with our “youth expert”! Come find out what our youth are passionate about, what they want to experience during worship and with the church community outside of worship. I’ve attached the information letter that I provided for incumbents so that you can have a look for yourselves. Youth Animator Weekend October 26 to 28 information

Thank you to the parishes who joined in the deanery-wide fundraising for The Alzheimer Society throughout the month of September.

For Your Devotions:
Thursday, October 4th is the memorial of Francis of Assisi, a friar who died in 1226. Francis gave up a life of luxury (you must read about him throwing money out a window and standing naked in front of his astonished father and Bishop) to found the Franciscan Order as well as The Poor Clares for women. To think of Francis only as an animal lover is to do him a serious injustice. His goal in life was to become like Christ by conforming completely in mind and heart to the teachings of Jesus. After experiencing a vision of a crucified seraph, witnesses say Francis was marked by the five wounds of the crucified Christ. Apparently, this was the first recorded case of stigmata.

May blessings abound for you this week!
